the article there was from yesterday, but Im always a day late with everything, heh. Funny that a news station would leak this out though. . . Also, looking at a map of the area, it doesnt look like it will solve the taffic problems unelss people use their maps and use the back roads, otherwise I-91 is gonna look like a parking lot like the road leading into Limestone. I dont think the state of Vermont would enjoy a bunch of people playing frisbee on the interstate.

UPDATE

Phish Coming To Coventry?

Quote
BY SETH POWERS, Staff Writer

Representatives of Great Northeast Productions, the production company for the popular Vermont band, Phish, are looking into having the band perform a concert in Coventry this year.

The company is checking the possibility of a summer concert in mid-August at the Newport State Airport in Coventry, said Coventry Selectman Michael Marcotte.

"It\'s a possibility, like the other sites they are looking into," Marcotte said.

The airport is located on Airport Road beyond the New England Waste Services of Vermont landfill, owned by Casella Waste Management.

There are still a number of hurdles they would have to overcome before they could perform at the Coventry site, Marcotte said.

"We want to look at public safety and whether the neighbors are OK with it, because they will be inconvenienced for a little while," Marcotte said. "It would be the biggest thing this part of the state has ever seen. Not just Coventry, but all of Orleans (County) and some of Caledonia would benefit from it.

"It would be great for everybody. We just hope that if it does come, that it would be a positive experience for everyone."

The AP wire, you have to be a member or know someone who is a member of the AP. You can pick up alot of news on google, belive it or not.

Went to both Highgates and they were a lot of fun. Not the best dead shows but the party was sick.

Trying to give miracles and no one needed tix. Reggae Fest was later that week. What a great week spent in VT.

Those were the days

Also we broke in to our fraternity walkin cooler and took all 30-40 cases on Miller Lite 16oz cans. Selling / trading free beer was about as good as it got. Like a Master lock is gonna keep 10 - 15 heads from free beer. :)
