Do the burroughs all have their own zipcodes?

If so, who cares what terminology is used to describe the area? I don\'t think it\'s very different from any other big city.

i live here, it\'s definitely not the greatest city, and driving sucks, but if you look around you can find a good, cheap, place to live.

and yeah there are a lot of people who do suck here, but you just gotta look around to find the good ones, like most other cities.  luckily there are enough people here to do so.

there are good bars and places to go that don\'t suck.

instead of trying to point out all the shitty things about some place try to find a few good things and enjoy it while you\'re there.

my favorite thing about boston:
walking along the charles river to the public gardens when its warm
...thats about it for now, i\'ve lived here for my 4th year , i\'m still looking for cool things to do (besides the lame obvious things like newbury st etc...).  i still have a love/hate relationship w/ this town
ps:  arlington isnt 20 miles away from boston, its more like 10, GET IT RIGHT GENCS.
pps:  do you really think connecticut is that much cooler than here?  pssh!  haha

boston and new york: great places to visit, awesome places to see a show. Would never want to live in either one of them.

every borough of New York City has multiple zip codes. I can walk two blocks in any direction and be in a different zip code.

I\'ve lived in small towns and they just bored me to tears after a couple of years. In the last couple of weeks here in New York I have seen shows by Mission of Burma and Blue Oyster Cult, a gallery exhibit of Picasso paintings alongside paintings by the American painters he influenced, and a snowboarding exhibition set up in a local park with a man-made hill and man-made snow. I can\'t imagine moving back to a small town until I retire.

Here is my reason Boston sucks - The T stops running before the bars close!

Now THAT is a good reason.

I can drive to a city to see any of those things. I\'m less than an hour from Boston and only 4 from NYC. And... I get to walk my dog daily throgh forests, around lakes, and by waterfalls, I breathe clean air, I see bright stars, and at the end of the day, I fall asleep listening to crickets and tree frogs. I could go on, but you get my point.

but your profile says you are from Arlington, MA......now if you were from Boston, wouldnt your profile say Boston, MA......yet another stupid thing about Boston.....people who live 20 miles outside of Boston proper think they live in Boston.....come on now Meliss....

i have lived in 4 different cities/towns all within 5 miles of downtown boston.

it\'s a 15-20 minute drive downtown cause i have to take fucked up ways there.

i\'m actually from new york.  bronx and then a mile away in yonkers, to be exact.

bronx is technically actually new york city, but not really, cause it\'s further away from downtown than where i live now.
