Oftentimes, when people talk about Greater New Haven\'s jam band ambassadors The Breakfast, they\'ll mention the supple wrist of guitarist Tim Palmieri. But the rich layering of sounds and melodies is important, too, so it\'s worth noting that roughly a year after the departure of longtime keyboardist Jordan Giangreco, the remaining trio has finally brought in a new keyboardist. Having rolled out new guy Matt Oestreicher at Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport two weeks ago, The Breakfast comes back to Toad\'s Place (300 York St., New Haven, 203-624-TOAD, toadsplace.com) tonight. Rizzo\'s Dilemma and C.O.D. open.

SoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoO excited for this show tonight!!!!!!! it\'ll be nice to see the boys spread their wings a bit and actually play 2 sets of music (i think?!). these hour long sets are grand and all, but I need a full Breakfast, dammit!

I know Matt doesn\'t know all the songs yet, so I\'m interested to see what\'ll be played tonight. crossin my fingers for a monster Queeb! I always want to hear See the Light, Mooboo\'s, Coma... would be great to hear an Eppy 1 tonight as well. So pumped!

i LOVE Tunage but they played it at Camp Bisco so i don\'t think they\'ll play it tonight but ya never know. New Beginning would be sweet though....... Fairy? kind of on the fence about that tune, i\'d like to see what Matt will do with that tune...... i just can\'t freak\'n wait to see the setup, i don\'t care what they play
