Panic has taken all of 2004 off.  Rumor has it that the comeback shows will be at the end of March... 4 nights @ the Fox Theater in Atlanta.... without a doubt, one of the finest venues I\'ve ever seen a show in... anyone else ever been there?

Yes it is... along with Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, and Staten Island... all make up NYC... it\'s not just Manhattan.

I say NYE in CT.  I have a biased opinion because a trip to CT is closer for me.

I am going to ink the Breakfast onto my calendar for NYE till the show details become available.

I may have to work on New Years day though.  All investment accounts that trade Turkish Lira securities need to be modified because the currency conversion ratio is going to be changing.  It\'s a crappy currency to have to deal with because 1 dollar = something in range of 10 million Liras.  When you hold a position that is equal to 10 million U.S. Dollars and it is denominated in Liras, you can imagine that the number is astronomical and very clumsy to deal with.

I guess the translation is as follows:

The Breakfast will be my first priority on NYE if they are within a few hours of Massachusetts, though I will go in to work the next day if they really need me.  I will still be on PB high and could probably use the overtime money anyway.

Thanks marcial - knew the band were on a break, but didn\'t know when they were coming back. Never know, they might actually make it to the UK next year - they cancelled the last two shows I was going to.

Yeah, I remember the last two Euro Tours were cancelled... one due to 9/11, and the next due to Mikey\'s illness.  They have toured europe on at least one other occaision though... have you ever seen them live?

Nope - never had the pleasure of seeing \'em live. Have four albums and half a dozen live shows, though the quality of those shows is generally not great. I know they play loud, but have yet to hear a really good recording. Guess I\'m spoilt by dave, matt and chris\' recordings!!

I haven\'t been to either of those places yet so I\'m in.  Let me think of the venues I have been to in greater Staven: Callahan\'s, Toad\'s, Blues Cafe (are they still open?), Annex Club.  Can\'t remember any others on my list down there.

well max creek is playing at toads so cancel that out...callahans,well if breakfast ever resorted to playing at callahans for nye they should just pack it in.(the band, not the building i mean)..blues cafe.i havent even heard of that place in a few years..and annex club is also off limits because of the nosebiting incident..which coincidentally is a great name for a band.
