Excellent show that easily ranks among the best I\'ve seen this year.

Matt took an outstanding, lengthy solo in May Fly that set the table for a quality first set. Had been a while since I heard Rush and was of course pleased by that and Metropolis gets better with each listen. I think my favorite part is how it builds towards the end and its ultimate conclusion that reminds me a bit of Food For Thought. Anyway, this was a solid version that got a great response. The Late And The Great was also an excellent version and a bit of a surprise considering that it was the first set, although its placement obviously made sense considering what followed. And while I\'m certainly no fan of Dave Matthews Band, playing Tripping Billies was a good idea and the crowd was undoubtedly into it.

As has been stated numerous times, Tribal is my favorite song and Tim annihilated the solo with the beer bottle in what was truly a classic version. A little impromptu mid-tempo Merge was definitely welcome and of course we all welcomed back The Chase with open arms. Question comes out the blue and then Puppetry did stray a bit, but certainly not too far, and  returned with Tim annihilating once again. And after all the intense jamming, Glimpse was a nice concise encore.

Great body language between Chris and Tim for this show and a rollicking crowd from the start.

One of the most fun rides I\'ve taken in a while and thanks to Elisa for driving up our contingent in the new wheels.

It was nice to meet you, Todaysparkles, and it was my pleasure to have you as a student in Breakfast 101, or as it\'s more familiarly known, Ser Geekery 101.

And regarding Corndog, there are two key rules to remember:

1. Corndog always comes back
2. Don\'t hold your breath

really good rush. They are starting to branch out more with the little extra type II action at the end there.   Very happy to see that.  So many epic jam possibilities with this tune.

also I am not a dmb fan but I gotta admit trippin billies sounds pretty good!

sickest tribal ive ever seen.  second set was complete madness.  awesome open jam > mayfly was was also sweet.  dangle doo was really laying it down.  would have liked a drum solo, but other than that, amazing show.

oh yeah the beer tim was using during the solo some chick handed to him while crazily dancing right in front.  the beer had one shwilly swig left, and he drank it after the solo.  later on after the show the girl was in the green room and told stevie some dude had just randomly given her that beer and she turned around and gave it to tim.  i thought that was pretty hilarious

did anyone else pick up on this?

didn\'t hear the quad top, but from about 10:40 on in the jam section of track 1, set 2, matt is clearly playing abb\'s midnite rider, again. he throws this out a lot and it never seem to get caught....

I don\'t remember this one specifically, but I do hear Matt playing it a lot. To me, though, it\'s usually so generic sounding that it\'s tough to establish whether or not it\'s an intended tease.

its the rhythm that makes it stick out to me, mostly, otherwise i\'d just say it\'s hinted at. but i think that\'s him actually teasing it when the rhythm sets in. he\'s mentioned that we miss his teases sometimes, so maybe i\'m just assuming this is one of them?...

Next time matt plays a classical piece, can the audience quiet down a bit?

Probably not at the field since 3/4 of that crowd probably never saw the band before.
