The thing with the kids is just ridiculous and I just don\'t get it.
"Anyone who knows a god damn thing about this band and has been there as long as some of us have, know god damn well that this show was something special." Ren re: Toads 8/23/07

then i was told that if i wanted to stay,i could leave my kid in the other room, oustide in the cigarette section or lock her in the car(but leave the windows cracked/radio on)..
serious lack of communication.
thanks to spacey for callin me and counting 6 kids runnin around havin fun.what gives?

Hey Freddie,  We were greeted at the door by a grim Tim...tellin us that you just left and that the girls couldn\'t stay...we just drove 45 minutes so I didn\'t want to turn around and head right back.  So being the good Dad that I\'m...I told the girls to hang in "Cancer Alley" and not breath...only kidding.   Actually they sat with Tangie just outside the door and the smokers were down the alley so it was cool.  Anyway...the music started and the girls moved to the doorway....about half way through the second song they were inside about 5 ft.  Little by little the kept moving up until they were at a table.  I kept waiting for the hammer to fall but it never did.  I don\'t know why the owner didn\'t kick us out but she didn\'t.  I\'m really sorry you missed the show. Caitlin comes to all the local shows but it\'s a rare occassion when my other two Breakfast nuts can hear the band.  Next week do what we did...start outside and then when the crowd gets thick...move on in.  Hopefully they (the owners) realized that it\'s not a big deal.  Actually CT. law says a guardian can bring in a kid to a bar but the bar can\'t serve the child. I told the bartender he should check the law.

Good luck next week...I am sooooo "F" ing bummed that we have a birthday party to attend next week.  Let me know how the show goes!!! Bring your child and at worst they\'ll have to sit on a stool by the hallway door.  It\'s still a great view of the show and then by the end you\'ll be in the center of everything.

Dave posted the show........check it out and of course Ken was there with the vid.

I\'m hoping the contract gets renewed for another month. There really is no better way to spend a Sunday.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

I agree, these past 2 weeks have been SO much fun and I\'d hate to think next week is the last!

I think they should def do it for another month at least...perfect Sunday outing.
Too fat for a tandem bike, and too drunk for a Mountain Bike...taste the fear.

The band is in Wisconsin on Saturday the 29th... I\'m guessing that\'s why the 30th is out.  For October, \'cepting the 21st, it looks like every Sunday is available... pardon me as a drool over the thought of acoustic Breakfast in my hometown every week.
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

Considering the bar hasn\'t even been open on Sundays, I would assume the 50-60 people coming in on Sunday is a plus.

Yes the return of these two songs is a glorious thing to hear!!!

Question Mark sounds amazing on the recording.
