i actually put my resume in for prudential financial today, among others, but me a new suit, shined my shoes, hell, i even shaved, now i am all dressed up and waiting...

Investment banking is advising mergers and aquisitions, valuing/managing IPO\'s etc..

What job did you apply to at Prudential?  I interviewed in their equity research group recently.
