However far fetched the film is. I still think that 9/11 was a coplot w/ Osama and his cronies. Call me crazy all you want but there is too much credible evidence that points in this direction.

While I think it\'s unlikely, I\'ll give you that this is an idea that warrants some consideration.

I highly doubt that anyone from the American government was having tea with Osama Bin Laden and figuring this thing out.  What\'s more likely is that the goverment got wind of it and looked the other way...most likely due to utter disbelief but maybe, just maybe, they got crazy and thought the whole thing might actually benefit them.  I\'d give the latter a 5% chance, that\'s it.

No I\'m not saying that they sat down and planned it out step by step but most def. agreed to "look the other way". I think that maybe Osama went a bit further than even they anticipated(which also fuels my belief that the UA Flight 93 was shot down).   I believe that the reason Osama has not been caught is he\'s dead. This administration can not afford to have that guy alive.

it really bothers me to think of how many people like to assume that the government had some involvement in the planning of the 9/11 attacks or whether or not they would have prevented it if they could have. i am so sick of hearing all of this anti-bush, anti-america michael moore shit all the time, and i see it everyday now that i live in the dc area. although i am not a huge supporter of bush, i certainly don\'t blame him for what happened at the twin towers or the pentagon. how the hell could he have been behind that? honestly. as much bullshit is related to what we are doing in iraq right now, i hate to see people who are not supportive of our military and people including the youth from the US who are there right now. i support anyone over there that is on our side 100%. as much fun as conspiracy theories are, i find it ridiculous that anyone could seriously believe that the US had involvement in this...

i normally do not talk about personal issues on here because it\'s really not appropriate on a discussion website dedicated to a band, but this just pisses me off. after attending my grandfather\'s funeral yesterday at arlington national cemetary in dc, i went and saw the memorial that they have for the 9/11 victims afterwards--a very moving monument. i cannot begin to explain how pathetic i think it is that people are so brainwashed to believe that this country\'s govt would have anything to do with that. that is just fucking absurd.

That\'s because you I hate to say it, are to young to have actually seen our government lie and steal and kill in so many other countries. I am sorry if the truth bothers you but our government has been caught too many times in cover ups and lies for me not to think otherwise about it. I served in the USN because I love my Country and the Constitution that this administration constantly assaults.
I truly believe that Nixon is no longer the worst president ever. As for brainwashing, you sound exactly that brainwashed.  Keep the blinders on. You\'ll be fine.

Oh and I remember the first time I heard of the Kennedy Conspiracy and totally thought that could NEVER have happened.

leith, in no way am i saying that our government is innocent. i am sure that there is plenty of shit going on, but i find it ridiculous for people to say that they were behind 9/11. call me brainwashed if i am somewhat patriotic..i happen to like living in this country aside from a decent amount of crooked shit with the government. i have my opinion on that and the ridiculous legal system in the US. that is totally fine if you think that i have blinders on because i don\'t believe in some retarded conspiracy theory.

This is ridiculous.  All you bleeding hearts need to find something else to complain and devise crazy theories about.  Bush has his faults; however, he was elected to a second term by an overwhelming percentage of the population... you are stuck with him for another 3 years... accept it and move on.

I refuse to believe that our government had ANY involvment whatsoever in 9/11.  We may be guilty of underestimating what Osama was capable of, and yes, had we been on higher alert we might have even prevented 9/11, but to say we knowingly allowed it to happen is just plain ignorant.

Marcial, do you really think Miller Lite is a microbrew?

Yeah I\'m ignorant because I refuse to believe the lies that this administration so readily has available. Keep toeing the company line. I\'m sure you\'re happier that way.

Good point... the guy can barely speak the language, let alone plot a conspiracy of such catastrophic magnitude!

FYI, It\'s actually the 2nd largest brewing company in America right now; & even though Miller has merged with a South African brewery, it uses pure American grown hops, but I\'ll save that knowledge for a whole other thread

Of course the video is ridiculous.

I just wanted to see what y\'all had to say about it. I find the video itself interesting not because I believe it but because of its actual existence.

Chances are this conspiracy theory can be filed in the "round file" located under my desk.  However with G.W. Bush running the show we will never know what he was thinking about any of his mostly moronic presidential decisions due to executive order 13233, which he signed into law a few years back.

This executive order permanently blocks public access to Presidential records reflecting military, diplomatic, or national security secrets, Presidential communications, legal advice, legal work, or the deliberative processes of the President and the President\'s advisors.

Kitty Kelley of the NY Times does a good job of shedding light on this order (that grandfathers in the last 3 presidents):  "George W. Bush and his father can see to it that their administrations pass into history without examination. Their rationales for waging wars in the Middle East will go unchallenged. There will be no chance to weigh the arguments that led the administration to condone torture by our armed forces. The problems of federal agencies entrusted with public welfare during times of national disaster - 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina - will be unaddressed. Details on no-bid contracts awarded to politically connected corporations like Halliburton will escape scrutiny, as will the president\'s role in Environmental Protection Agency\'s policies on water and air polluters."

Why does G.W. feel the need to work under such a veil of unexaminable secrecy?
