i saw pgroove a few weeks back in milwaukee.. i always enjoy them a lot at high sierra but absolutely hated there show recently. i dont know, i was bored as fuck about 90% of the time, their jams ALL sound soooo similar and the changes just seemed way too obvious. i think the atmosphere at HSMF made em something they werent for me. their keyboardist sucks a fat one. i like brock but hes so damn repetitive after awhile. i guess the main problem i had was that i felt like they didnt tap into different emotions, everything turns happy and soft. i like music that makes you feel dark for awhile, bright for awhile, and the broad spectrum of everything in between. i was bored just floating along on a fluffy cloud of fruity smiles. i think they need to find their balls, but hey music is all opinion, just thought id share mine.

I used to see them all the time in the ATL and yes, they suck ass.  Highly repetitive - they sound like a backup band with no lead player.  The whole reason I didn\'t go to every breakfast show on the last southern tour is because they were opening for these hacks.  If you want livetronica go see Lotus.

I don\'t want to be totally negative - yes pgroove sounds like a backup band with no lead player - but Seepeoples is now one of my favorite southeastern bands.  I would love to see the Breakfast tour with them in North Carolina.  And Sam Kinninger is also wicked, best saxophone album I\'ve ever heard.

Psychedelic Breakfast is a good name for a great band, Freddie.
