no problem.. if it\'s something you seriously consider, let me know and i can help get you going.. it\'s definitely an addiction. and if you haven\'t discovered MAME yet, you\'re missing out.

Why? Are u getting DRE\'s ? I have a PS2 bought @ release and the only problem I have ever had is some DVD\'s do not play. I expect the HDD to have something installed to update the DVD driver. Keep the PS2 and buy a referbished XBOX for $130. Get your PS2 online and keep the hope alive!

sweet.. did your buddy actually build a cabinet?

i can\'t wait to get mine done.. i built a dedicated pc just for MAME and all the other emulators.. the cabinet itself will be housing a 27" wells gardner arcade monitor.. 4-player control panel with a 3" trackball, spinner, extra 4-way joystick, and pinball flippers underneath on the side.. also got a 4-player coin door. the project is taking forever, but right now i\'m waiting for the control panel artwork, which justin is working on.. once that\'s done i can finally start wiring it up, and start playing.. it won\'t be completely finished till we get a house though, cause i don\'t wanna have to move it..... ever.

i constantly get DRE\'s...and forget about playing dvd\'s, they won\'t play at all. i\'m pretty sure that\'s what messed it up to begin with. i was using the ps2 for dvd\'s before i bought a dvd player.

$130 for a referbished xbox? hmmm...i just might.

i took part in the beta testing for ps2 online. they sent me a free network adapter after i sent back the test model. i haven\'t used ps2 online since the testing though, cause of the errors and the sad fact that i still have a dial up connection.

i\'m pretty sure he built most of it (or chopped up an existing cabinet).

4-player control panel with a 3" trackball, spinner, extra 4-way joystick, and pinball flippers underneath on the side.. also got a 4-player coin door.

holy shit! that\'s gonna be some pimped out system!!!

Pex box baby!  The ONE and ONLY.  Boy, I\'m gonna move to Staven...the only town with John and Maria\'s apizza, home to TB, and Pex Box.  It\'s got to be the best place to live in America.
