alternate 10/31/10

I was really happy to be able to listen to the stream last night.  Had the football game on w/ the volume off and the stream on full blast.  There were a few hiccups along the way, but for the most part the stream was clear and the quality was excellent.

Costume set sounded tight.  Little Feat are obviously a big influence on the band and they genuinely seemed excited to be doing it.  I would prefer that they nail something like this that I was unfamiliar with rather than butcher an album I hold dear to my heart.

I also want to say that the Stash and Jiboo were next level stuff.  The jams they put together on both of these are my kind of Phish.  If this is any indication of what they have in store for the future then sign me up!

Costume set was lots of fun. this was an album i actually do hold near and dear to my heart and i was nervous that they\'d train wreck the hell out of it. Waiting for Columbus is an album i got into at around the same time i was getting really into phish. I have always thought that page sounded a lot like Bill Payne and wen i used to listen to this album i always pictured phish playing these tunes, esp \'times loves a hero >day or night\'. (this was before i knew that phish played time loves a hero) The songs fit phish\'s style so well, in my opinion, and yea, they fucking nailed it. prob my favorite costume so far after Remain in Light

I\'ve never heard the original album, so this should be a fun listen.
