i don\'t know if this is old news, but i just checked out their website cause i saw that they were puttin out a dvd. a visual journey through sound featuring live performances from particle, pb, and raq. the site, opticaldelusion.com , has a preview clip of the breakfast. i got dial up and gotta leave to go out now, so i couldn\'t check out the whole thing. looks and sound great though from the brief 2 seconds i was able to play.

Is this the DVD that is previewed on the Breakfast website?

Is anybody else noticing that, when you stream the video from thebreakfast.net,  it says "Psychedelic Breakfest".  What in tarnation is that about?

Yeah I noticed it too. I had thought there was a name change but the word has not gotten out too well as I keep seeing PB in literature also.

I dont know, I previewed that dvd and all it is is psychedelic screensaver visuals, with pb\'s songs playing in the backround, it looks pretty stupid to me.

Look closer... their name is listed as "Psychedelic Breakfest".  I assume you (and Leith) thought that was a typo on my part, but that\'s the spelling straight from the website.

Yep thought it was you, now that i look closer the preview is still lame. IMO they should have put a snipet or 2 of concert footage in.

my suspicion is that it is the visuals. I know Marco and thats what they do for a living. I don\'t think they did lights for any of the PB shows except for a few at Tobacco Road if memory serves me right.

As for it being stupid. I have many dvd\'s like this in my collection. If it isn\'t your cup of tea thats fine but why bash them.

I will say that optical dellusions is one of the best live light show teams I have ever seen. Those guys do an amazing job and never dissappoint. They have also been fans of PB for a long time.

If any of you were at the party in Maine last August it was Marco who through the party and Optical Dellusions who did the lights.

Also this project did get a full color 1/4 page ad in the Relix festival guide so at the very least it was good publicity for the band

i saw the ad in the relix with keller on the cover (pb\'s also mentioned in the emusic ad) and it sounded like a pretty sick dvd. no doubt the visuals are ser and a lotta work went into them, but i think there\'s gotta be footage of the bands too. i\'ve got dvd\'s of tripped out visuals too, but i can\'t watch them repeatedly like i can a concert dvd (watched the ween dvd about 7 times already)

I would agree if this were billed as a concert footage DVD.

but it says a "Visual Journey through Sound featuring live performances by ......"

It is possible that there is some footage of the band. They did video the whole party in Maine and I know they have done tons of stuff with RAQ (Optical Delusions is the light show for just about every THG event) and I was asked to submit recordings of Particle but I am really not sure. I am curious where my copy of this DVD is and I will have to bug Marco about it. He said if he used any of our recoridngs he would give us a shout out.

What about the cafe\' 9 VIDEO ??????

So it is an Optical Delusions DVD w/ The Breakfast as one of many artists on the DVD. Is this a correct assumption?
