coming to sully\'s in hartford on friday 10/1. i know...i know....the breakfast is at the lions den that night but maybe some of the mass and ri ser folks will be interested

Hey Duane.  Thanks for the phone call yesterday.  I decided that I would go at about 11:00 last night, but I talked myself out of it because I didn\'t want to drive home afterwards.  I was too drunk to drive anyway after a night with the rugby team.

yeah man.......they raged from midnite until 1:45. home at 3 and in work by 7:30.  :)

since it\'s out....they are going to take a break after new years for up to a year. they told me this and never said breakup. it doesn\'t sound great to me but they never used that word. i don\'t think it was unanimous.

The new year will mark change in direction for the three members of nero. The band has announced that after six years of performances together it will begin a "Sabbatical-Chasm" on January 1. nero has indicated that "It\'s a Sabbatical in the sense that we will be continuing to explore music as well as continuing to improve our abilities and musical offerings. It is a Chasm in the sense that it will be a sudden interruption of the continuity of the band and its current path." The group has no upcoming dates currently announced on its web site but some additional gigs are forthcoming leading up to the stasis.

well, nero is taking what they are calling a sabbatical chasm...

here\'s what they have to say about it....

some of you may have seen them open up for the breakfast....a tour or two ago....

please, anyone that never listened to these guys, or has, and wants to hear more, aol or msn instant message me and i will send you some great stuff...it really breaks my heart that there is a chance many people will go never seeing this incredible band. they have provided me with some the greatest musical experiences i have ever had the pleasure of ...uh...experiencing..

welcome to the site, dimafleck. there are a lot of nero fans here, and we actually have a thread going on right now about the current nero happenings, which i\'m gonna merge your post into. i can only hope that you\'re here to enjoy some breakfast, and not just a nerospam one-post-wonder... we need some b\'fast canadian representation!
