wow this is good, thanks dave! it will be in my car all weekend for my travels on the 3 night run.

def like the \'aquatic\' (for a better term) bass effects ron uses in what the funk. similar in sound to what i\'ve heard mike gordon use in songs like weekapaug. its badass.

We were comparing it to 96 Phish last night sound wise.

Hope to see another show at Daniel Street soon.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

Dave, I know you\'ve probably explained this before, but what\'s the difference between the 24 bit, and what I downloaded the other day?  And don\'t say that it will sound better because I don\'t think that\'s possible.  I\'m almost deaf from cranking this show in my car.

yes, it will sound better.

no, you probably can\'t listen to it in your car.

here is a good (quick) FAQ about 24-bit.

alright, so your FAQ answered my CD to car stereo question, but it didn\'t address iPod to home stereo.  Would 24 bit sound better thataway?

file size would be ridiculous. the only really good way to listen to 24bit is off your comp through a ser stereo system

So to download flac files from the archive now, do you have to download each song file individually?

Also what is ogg vorbis?

via web, yes. i don\'t believe they\'ve ever zipped FLACs the way they do with MP3s.

again, your best bet for downloading anything off archive is doing it via FTP. i recommend SmartFTP.

not quite sure what you\'re asking here.. you wouldn\'t put these on an ipod. the most likely application would be to burn them to a DVD and use your DVD player to listen to them.
