Reports are floating around that Steinbrenner has had a major heart attack and is in critical condition.  I\'m not a fan of the guy, but no one can dispute that he brought this team back to all its glory from the 50\'s and 60\'s...  This could be a rough week in Yankee land...

Can\'t stand that picture...  It\'s indicative of only a portion of the fans that were born during the late 80\'s to present and have only known winning...  That being said, not sure who you root for Colin, but I\'m guessing it\'s either the Phillies or the Mets and they have the 4th and 5th highest payroll respectively in MLB... As for who\'s #2, you guessed it, Boston, so I don\'t want to hear anything about who\'s spending what...

I think George Steinbrenner is an icon in one way or another, be it business, baseball or just New York sports lore. However, it\'s undeniable that he was a huge asshole who was once "banned for life" from baseball.

But in the end, I agree whole-heartedly with Colin:
