I\'d rather see half the bands get twice the time.  45 minutes isn\'t enough to get anything too ser going.  It starts, they play 6 songs, you blink, and it\'s over, and you\'re left standing there thinking WTF!

I totally agree!!! Every time I see a very good band get shafted with a 30-45 minute set I get so disappointed. To me it\'s more about quality rather than quantity. I\'ve seen it happen to PB more times than I\'d like to think about. It just leaves me a bit sour.

If this were within an 8 hour drive I\'d go but I doubt cross-country is gonna happen for me.  I guess I\'m just into small fests and full individual shows more than mega-fests right now.

I will say this though if they come back: I am severly dissapointed in you rage. YOu had the oportunity to make some of the best political statments you ever could have if you had simply kept going given bush in office, but you played it safe and broke up. Now that he is leaving office in a little bit you come back? For shame. Unless you get out and become extremely political over the elections in 08, you will never be the band you once were.

I told you why. It\'s very simple. They gave us a rather refreshing social commentary that I had not seen on that level since the late 60s. They were pushing people to become aware of the issues and become active in changing things they did not approve of. If the people took up the cause or not is the will of the people. Is there anything wrong with him breaking up the band to persue other intrests? Absolutely not. My problem is the timming. I think that based on the agenda they seemed to have set, that they could have become a much larger and important band given the war breaking out. But they broke up instead. I\'m not saying that they suck because of it, I still love the music they released and I was glad I got to see them live before the breakup. To me though, he walked away at the moment when he could have had the most to say. I\'m not looking for a leader here, nor do I think they should need to be. I would have really loved to have know his views on what has happened the last few years were though.

so look it up. like leith said, zach didn\'t disappear off the face of the earth after RATM broke up, which happened almost an entire year before the "war on terror" began.

Zack is also actively working with the Son Jarocho group Son De Madera and has performed with them on a number of occasions including the \'Save The Farm\' rally for the South Central Farmers plot in Los Angeles, California.
