"In 1962 this piano bass was invented to replace the bass guitar, and it sounds like a bass guitar....So there\'s a nice little over relic here, a piece of history in Eli\'s right now......Besides the cotton gin."

I don\'t know if it has been mentioned, but I love the intro to the 12/31/03 Sleeping Beauty where Tim sings \'Joshua, snare drum mic, go and fix it.\'

I know we are 8 pages away from the first post in this thread.......
and its been a while since someone has posted on it....

but for you Mikey....here is a copy/paste of the first post in this thread....

**The Official Tim Palmieri^ Stage Banter Thread**
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tim Palmieri is undoubtedly the king of wacky (and often corney) stage banter. For me it is one of the many endearing qualities of The Breakfast. After listening to the 5/24/01 Blues Cafe show last night, I wanted to form a thread where we could post funny Palmierisms as we hear them from shows, radio joe, etc......

Please lets try to just use this thread for the posting of such quotes.

^I would say it would be fair to post banter from other members of the band if stubled upon.

So, to kick this thread off....

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Do you smell what the Rock is cooking?"

So it wasn\'t exactly STAGE banter, but banter nonetheless.

Timmy, upon entering the UAC on Saturday:

"We built this city / We built this city / We built this city on blood and iron!"

Welcome Gregg Elis to the lights for the Breakfast. Gregg Ellis, lighting up the Breakfast.
How can you eat your eggs and cereal without a light on the subject? You don\'t know if that milk is bad - chunks in it?
or if the eggs turned green?
They just aren\'t
 right for some reason!
I don\'t know
Ham
It can always be rotten
damn that fridge
damn everything
damn mass production
damn capitolism
damn all those bad things that happen and damn all the good things too.
