apparently they\'re having a contest on youtube for a fan to create the official video for Charlie.

The RHCP contest to create the official video for "Charlie," from Stadium Arcadium is still going on through video-sharing website YouTube. After seeing so many creative videos for their songs on sites like YouTube, RHCP is looking for fans & up-and-coming directors to create their new video. The winning video will be the "official" video for the song.

The winner of the contest will receive $5,000 and a trip to meet Red Hot Chili Peppers and see them perform live in Paris, France on July 6th! To enter the contest, which runs through April 20th, eligible entrants should visit YouTube or can go here and follow the instructions to upload their video entry. The contest is open to entrants from the United States, UK, Germany, Australia, Canada and Sweden.

1st thing I thought of:

Get a bunch of people together, and brain storm for video ideas and tape that.
The brainstorming session is the video.
Lame drawings. Ridculous attempts at stunts and what not. People throwing stuff at each other. Make a big joke/video of how hard it is to come with something.

Im just the idea man..... i need someone to take that vision and put it into motion. i have no problem working my balls off to make something work, but lack the motivation and the ability to get others motivated..... the ability to motivate others is probably the best attribute of any successful person.

Peck, I am sure it has been done, however we do have talented video crafters in our corner, who may or may not be interested in doing something regarding this endeavor......

I guess I would have to listen to the song too.......
