tix actually aren\'t onsale yet, they\'ve just announced the dates.

and i have no idea who\'s playing. based on the progression thus far, this year should be all hipster/emo/techno/country acts, plus panic.

I thought the bill was really well balanced last year.  Sure the headliners were mainstream- they are, after all, HEADLINERS.  Every genre I could think of was well represented, and with 5 stages going at once, you were bound to find something.  More often than not, the problem was 2 acts worth seeing on at the same time.  Good problem to have.  I\'d def consider a return this year.  I\'d even behave myself.

i\'ll be there most likely for my fifth year in a row.  if any of you guys recall, I went last year with my friends from the band The Postelles who were on the bill and hooked me up big time..(ended up meeting/having dinner with Eddie Vedder, met Derek Trucks, was on the stage for most of acts at the festival).

i\'m hoping Phish plays this year as i\'ll be getting a free ticket and will most likely be there.  for anyone on the fence about going to bonnaroo, i\'ve been to a fair amount of festivals now and none really compare to it (for what it is).  for the past two or three years i think it\'s been the premiere festival in America and I hope to maybe see some of you there.

oh...and i really hope the breakfast would play.

poophead, i think it\'s a cluster fuck whether phish plays or not.  bonnaroo has had the biggest acts in the world play the last few years- Phish and their selective audience won\'t effect the crowd size, methinks.

uh, peaches, phish can draw a crowd of the same size as the entire festival. that seems like quite an affect, doubling the corwd size and all. and its for exactly that reason that i can\'t imagine phish will ever play bonnaroo. they can have their own fest.

A 200,000 person festival would be balls crazy.

jking, i def do not think phish will double the size of bonnaroo, especially considering that plenty of people that go to bonnaroo are already people that would go to a phish festival and vice versa...

If pearl jam and metallica and radiohead can play bonnaroo, i don\'t see why it wouldn\'t be possible for phish to be there... in fact, I imagine it would be a sweet easy gig for them- load in, rage, load out, huge festival crowd, no chance of a coventry disaster on their hands...

but truthfully, it doesn\'t matter to me either way- i probably won\'t be there regardless.

but none of those bands you mentioned have seriously traveling fanbases. therein lies the difference. you put "phish" and "festival" in the same sentence, and you\'re automatically guaranteed an extra 50k kidz. easily.

but you\'re right, i won\'t be there either way, so i don\'t really care...

PJ has a pretty big traveling fanbase, not as big as phish, but pretty big. A good thing is not a lot of ticketless people go to shows

Too bad this show is in the middle of nowhere.  885 miles and a 14 hour drive = not a chance in hell.

meh, i don\'t think it\'s the same if it\'s not "Phish, 3 sets each day!"

one night, two setter, 200 bucks = not goin unless i dig the rest of the lineup
