I like how the principal said, "It\'s not like Tony is going to break my legs or anything." Right.

And for the record, I thought this was a very good episode. Splitting up Tony and Carmela was the shot in the arm this show needed after an average Season Four and I thought it paid off big-time this week. The show is going places no mafia-related fictional drama has ever gone with the seperation. They\'re breaking ground, much like they\'ve already done with Tony\'s visits to Melfi. I thought this week\'s episode was the funniest of the season, in addition to the Carmela drama, which I thought was great work. To me, season Five is almost already better than last season.

:yack:Janice

not a bad standalone episode, but i dunno.. call me crazy, but there are exactly 16 episodes left in the series. why are we devoting full episodes to indroducing new characters week after week??

All of the established storylines are totally stagnant and have been for weeks. Instead of introducing two new characters who are irrelevant and will be forgotten about next week, further the existing plots. Six episodes left until another year-and-whatever hiatus, and little of importance has happened this season. Oh wait, a bear walked by the pool. Great.

i\'m just getting tired of coming up with excuses for every episode. we get a great episode, then we get 3 straight weeks of shit.. that\'s becoming way too normal with this show..

Friends and family gather at the Sopranos\' for a not-so-surprise 75th birthday party for Carmela\'s father, Hugh. Meanwhile, Johnny Sack shows off his new wheels, Phil Leotardo pulls into hoo haa\'s old place for some auto repairs, and Tony B. considers accepting a familiar job on the side.

good ep. not great, but good/very good.. finally starting to get back on track with continuing storylines, rather than start new ones.. starting to find out a lot about Tony B... very funny episode as well.. junior had some great lines, as always... and meadow =.

eh.. not bad.. i can\'t complain about meadow getting airtime, but her whole thing just dragged out WAY too long.. \'THE SUITCASE, THE SUITCASE, THE SUITCASE!!!\'.. shut up.. Vito giving the security guard a bj seemed pretty pointless.. seems like a good transition episode though. johnny sack is heated, and tony b is in trouble.. tony in the pool at the end was hilarious..

I was hoping to see this up here.  I know you usually have the music credits for each episode, and I was wondering about the tune at the end of this past weeks episode.  I know it was Shawn Smith (sounded just like him), but I was wondering if it was him solo or with Satchel....thanks...

Tony\'s crew circles the wagons as Johnny Sack turns up the heat. Carmela counts her blessings; Christopher is freaked out by an unexpected visitor; Benny\'s connection to the plumbers\' union comes in handy; AJ demonstrates his business acumen; and Tony ponders whether to execute a "sacrifice bunt." Don\'t miss the season finale of the Sopranos on June 6th at 9PM ET.

As I have said before, this was the first season of the Sopranos I ever watched.  I enjoyed it all the way through.

Whos got my Season 1-4 on disk?
