Coors Light = $5.00 and top shelf well drinks were $7 (Kettle 1 and ginger)

This was last Friday Night at the Lions Den.

They do now have food and I tried the Pizza. It was pretty decent for a bar.

Is anyone planning on going down for St Pattys day ? U-Melt is playing there Thursday night

I have to ask though, why the Peculiar Pub? That place is terrible.[/QUOTE]

i like it. it\'s got a ton of beers (over like 500 or something) and it\'s only 2 blocks from lion\'s den. plus, it\'s nice and open so lots of peole can gather around and talk and not have to yell an scream over people.

urban fetch... hmm.. why do i know that band? are you guys from nyu?

Urban Fetch was a short lived delivery service that operated in Manhattan.

I understand the allure of 100s of beers, but that place is the ultimate 20-yr-old NYU hang-out. On a Friday night? Ugh, it\'s going to be doubly awful.

I guess my only point is that there are dozens of decent places within 2 blocks of the Den, so why that place? No worries, we\'ll see you fellas at the Den.
Trade? Maybe...

I resemble that remark :)

Hey freddie you\'ll have to give me a quick review of the crowes show when you get to the den. I used to love the crowes, but unfortunately for them when I saw them live for the first time Gov\'t Mule opened for them and the Mule w/ Woody just blew them off. I actually felt bad that the Crowes had to follow them. Kind of like when The breakfast opens for someone. I always feel for the band up next that has to try and top them.

absolutely freddie, that guy can suck a dick.. he was at HSMF last year, biggest fucking ego ever.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
