First of all I was talking about the puppet house shows...that place will be packed with underage kids if you were playing the spoons ALL NIGHT!  I was not saying that the Breakfast shouldn\'t push for a young crowd!

Second of all, when are you planning on pushing the Breakfast aside?  Music is my passion...I will be 80 and going to shows.  I do not just go to bars and play pool, or go hunting or fishing...this is what I love to do and will do it forever.  So age don\'t matter to me.

I wasn\'t specifically saying that you or anyone will in particular but it happens. That is why some bands fail, the can\'t continue to bring in the audience they once had. I gave up moving because the Breakfast would be so far away. I think we may have misunderstood each other earlier. I simply was saying that their needs to be a younger crowd, so that they can travel with the band in time. One reason why some bands make a jump a head is because when they go out on the road a core of fans follow them. If I was from Wisconsin and I went to my first breakfast show and I meet people from CT who traveled with the band I would definitely be more inclined to travel and bring others around with me.

Man, I had 2 people from the Panic board IM me tonight about getting stuff. I gave both of them links to some archive shows and pointed them in the .info direction.

People seem to be excited about their set at 10klf this weekend. I saw a few takers on the Phish and Panic boards.

I have about 4 or 5 orders for mailed samplers, and even more for people that want a copy at the Deer Creek show. Yay Breakfast!!!

Been going to the Puppet House for at least 12 years....VERY known fact by the neighbors AND police that underager ragers hang out there. As put by my cousin who\'s a Branford cop...."We\'d rather have them in one place having fun and getting fucked up than have them all over the place causing needless havoc" :lol: I\'ve seen cruisers go by only a handful of times in the 60+ times I\'ve been there. Only once did they have a problem with anything (at least that I know/ have heard of) and that was because someone was beating the schnot out of someone else in the middle of the street. < knocks on wood profusely >

Damn guy, good memory for an old man, heh. But from what I remember there was no actual "fight" (although I didn\'t witness any of it), just some yelling and screaming and the like that made the cops come/stop. Oh, and there was also some underage drunk kid(s) post-show on their way to the car who got escorted back inside by Branford\'s finest and then we all know what happened after that, but I will refrain from mentioning any names

I understand what Walsh\'s concern is and I hear it. As long as people act responsible then we should be all right. I would hate to see an underage kid get pulled over on the way home for drinking at the Breakfast show. It is their responsiblity not mine, I am only asked to fill the place with people.
