At quick glance, i found SIX supporting members out of over six hundred on this site (not including the number one supporting member, Dave) Among the top eight posters (i\'ve excluded Dave and Gray from the top ten) there are three. Of these SIX, two live on the west coast and to my knowledge, have never met Dave in person. One of those is constantly belittled as a trouble maker while he goes above and beyond the call to help spread the word about the breakfast. Two others are "oldtimers" who know how to do whats right. The last two are relative youngsters who also know how to do whats right, when one of them barely posts at all. The rest of you frequent posters are taking advantage of Daves generosity multiple times daily. While i realize that others do things to help the band in other ways....none of that helps Dave keep this site running. He has way too much class to put this in anybodys face....but I don\'t....I just call em like I see em. Before the flaming starts about how much money nobody has, I would suggest that ONE less pint at one of the many shows attended would be a huge help to him. Everyone here , IMO, needs to evaluate there own participation and act accordingly. Flame on!

I guess I can respect this post, but it seems a little harsh.  I for one am in no state of financial security.  When I can scrounge up some dough, after hopefully paying the bills, I try to attend some shows to get my fix.  Having to support my addiction costs enough as is.(gas, car repairs, tickets, etc.)  When I reach the point where I can contribute I will.  It\'s not like the thought hasn\'t crossed my mind..
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.

I agree with Freddie..just cause there is no dollar sign by a persons name doesn\'t mean they didn\'t contribute.  I also contributed money years ago when dave was just getting the idea rolling.

How about this... I\'m 20 years old, paying my way through college, and trying to pay to study in Ireland over the summer so I might graduate early... all on two just above minimum wage jobs.  Making a donation to this website is on the horizon... somehow I felt that donating my extra cash (which wasn\'t much) to a tsunami relief fund was a bit more important.

I\'m done with this thread unless I see that Dave has something to say.

My posts are my contribution...
That and my Peck appreciation...

When there are One Touch Home Entertainment home theaters and audio systems all over the state of Connecticut, I will be more than happy to make a solid financial contribution to this site....

just an FYI

you can even donate 50 cents via paypal

if everyone donated 50 cents to a dollar... Dave would be all set and not have to worry about the bills

but, like i\'ve said before... if no one HAS to pay, very few will.

sucks having to pay out of pocket for something that is used by so many... I can totally relate

Well i know all my friends are not financially secure and the most likely in the sentence covers the rest. Plus if anyone on this board is financially secure they need to stop just posting and buy the band they love some lighting gear, help the guys pay their crew, and buy commercial space for RR.  how\'s that ?

Well add you get Band catering backstage and not crew catering and it\'s all good.
