i have, but it\'s not something i\'m comfortable doing, and i doubt stevie and/or ellis would want to deal with it on a nightly basis.

Didn\'t we (collectively) buy some taping gear for the band back when Mandler was on the road? I know I threw in some $$$ for something like that back in 2004 or \'05.

smart.

I don\'t trust those two with safety scissors and round paper.

You are right not to let those two with anything of value. They would A) Forget it after the first use 2) Sell it 3) Forget it was even brought on tour.

rotfl That is hilarious! rotfl

and true... didn\'t ellis just break HIS OWN expensive ass light or something? Or left it in a vulnerable spot where someone broke it?
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

Excellent. That\'s at least two tapers in Chicago.

A few years back I let Chris Mandler borrow my rig to record a tour and it was accidentally left at a venue.  It created an awkward situation with the band, Chris and I.   When they finally figured out where it was, the venue found the gear and mailed it out. Looking back I totally appreciate the work to record, run merch and help setup and take down the stage for very little $.  It\'s easy to leave stuff behind after a long and late night.

In the past Dave Peck and I organized a "Record the band and upload show, get into the show for free!"  I am not sure if Dave has organized this program for this tour? I have not been involved with this in a few years.
