With the Reds acquiring Bronson Arroyo, I don\'t see how they\'re gonna be stoppable this year.

Did anyone see the Yanks/Sox ST game yesterday?  Pretty good game...  Sox sent out a B squad consisting of mostly back ups and PawSox and still held their own against a full Yankee ML squad.  Though those Yankees hitters can really work a pitcher, man.  Papelbon had full counts all over the place.   He didn\'t look like he had the best stuff but he gutted through his 5 innings, very impressive.  Chacon really looked good too for the Yanks, I think he may end up being one of their best starters.  And yeay Bernie, good to see him hitting well.  Have to say he\'s my favorite Yank.  Adam Stern also continued to impress after he almost single handedly beat the US team in the WBC.  And a laser HR by Wily Mo.  Wow!
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

Well Minyana can certainly throw money at a guy as good as anyone else in the game.  A god though, I don\'t know about that one, remember Kazuo Matsui?  Though I\'m pulling for them this year to dethrone the Braves in the NL East.  Wright is a beast, he\'s the complet package, feilding, hitting man he\'ll be good.

I\'m kind of hoping that the Mets need one big acquisition by the trading deadline.  Maybe then the Sox can pry Lastings Milledge out of their system.  That guy looks to be well, the next Beltran.  Speaking of whom, I hope he can really put together a quality season.  He should be better than his numbers last year.  I bet Shea may have something to do with that though.  It\'s about time they do something with that stadium, namely raze it to the ground and make a new one.

yea matsui was the worst acquisition ever. all we want to do is get rid of the loser.

If we got a solid second baseman and some middle relievers we have a good chance at winning it all.

Minaya is the man though. He totally turned the team around.

And beltran will deffinitly bounce back. Last year he was just in a mental rut. He is adjusted now I am sure of it.

I just cant wait to see reyes flying around those bases! woohoo! I love baseball.

PEDRO = PAB

I was glad to see him go honestly.  He did alot of good for the sox dont\' get me wrong but he also choked alot, when it was needed, but I can talk shit about him now cause he\'s not a red sox any more ;)

Pedro\'s ERA last year: 2.82

Red Sox team ERA last year: 4.74

Oh yeah, they\'re much better off without him, especially with Curt Schilling smack dab in the middle of his prime. PPPPPPPPPfffffffffffffffftttttttttt........

Please try harder

Hey Bitchie, I mean Pitchie...when\'s the last time the Mets won a World Series?  TWENTY years ago.  And the end to your drought is nowhere in sight.  The Mets suck.  And if it weren\'t for interleague games against the Yankees and opening day, you wouldn\'t have sold out a single game in the last 5 years.

And not let\'s forget that the Sox signed J.T. SNOW! Wow! Prepare the ticker tape!

What bullshit. Get me a bucket. The Sox dismantled a potential dynasty and it started because they didn\'t want to pay Pedro for a fourth year.

I\'m bored. E-3.

again, every year people doubt the Braves winning the division and this year is no different. the mets made some decent acquistions in the off-season, dont forget 59-year-old Julio Franco.  The Braves got solid pitching but w McDowell they should skip a beat. mcCann did good in post-season and is good be great, along with giles, chipper, andruw, franceur, laRoche, the offense will be there. should be a great race with the phillies, marlins, and Nats likely all looking to make some sort of statement.

im bored too...
