Yeah I know it\'s short notice, but I just heard about it on the radio today.

David Grisman Quintet
Ridgefield Playhouse
Ridgefield, CT
4/5/08

Quote
For more than 40 years, mandolinist/composer David Grisman has been busy creating "dawg" music, a blend of many stylistic influences (including swing, bluegrass, latin, jazz and gypsy) so unique he gave it its own name. In doing so, David has inspired a whole new genre of acoustic string instrumental music with style and virtuosity while creating a unique niche for himself in the world of contemporary music. The current David Grisman Quintet includes David on mandolin, Jim Kerwin on bass, George Marsh on percussion, Frank Vignola on guitar, and Matt Eakle on flute.

If I had the money, I\'d be there. It would totally be worth the $65, I just can\'t do it right now.

For only $10 more you could see this the following night.

They played here after Taste of Syracuse a couple years back. The tent emptied out after only a couple songs...and it was free!

That\'s Ridgefield for ya.    That\'s the general price for pretty much every show at this place.
