come on, i can understand if it\'s a place like toad\'s, but i think i still managed to spend less than < $50 for the whole weekend on drinks, considering they were 2 for 5 at the brewery and $2 at the ec.  and considering we probably drank at bars/breweries for 20 hours or so of the weekend, that\'s an accomplishment.

:-P

want a medal?

that depends on if it\'s gold or silver, i prefer silver

It\'s not really cheap if your drinking anything besides the scwhill water saranacs.

I spent well over $50 at the bar the first night, then brought a sixer in the second night and still spent $30 or 40 at the bar.

The bar tenders there very greatly though. The guy and tatted up girl were not cuttin any slack but blonde girl was hookin  up the fat deals.

So, I have to ask, what\'s with the annoying cowbell every couple of minutes.  Is it a tip bell at the bar.  Either way, it\'s really annoying.

it is the tip bell.... very very annoying and distracting too. so much, in fact, i was inspired not to tip, and brought my own alcohol to the show.... :hehehe:

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

synergy might be the best jam of the whole weekend

second set first night is the best set of the weekend

intro jam is ser 10 minutes +
tribal is huge one of the best ever.
reba is nailed. as good a version as I have ever heard
taboo  w/bass solo is a nice interlude
queeb is filthy, one of the best ever recorded
simpleton is a nice capper

timmy shredded it up like I have not seen in a long time all weekend.

oh, everyone finally sang the song the right way?  i noticed the high pitched crowd singing fell off over the years and got repalced with a somewhat monotone version, never understood why, i mean everyone knows what the songs sounds like...

Word from staff is that ftp uploading works as before at its usual speed, but yes, ftp downloading has changed.

Due to abuse, ftp downloads had to be throttled. Also, http makes it easier for IA to serve alternate copies of files in case of high load, individual machines crashing or other problems.

FTP still does work, just manually change the "http" in a link to "ftp" and it should be usable, but slower than before. BTW FTP was apparently a stopgap while there was a 2GB http downloading glitch, now reportedly fixed (this? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/298618 ).

To use http, if your usual browser or net connection is giving you trouble, you may be able to find a suitable http-based download manager for your setup. I\'d want one with resume, for instance!
