Can the band pull a crowd outside of CT on NYE?
For many people, they will be attending a 1st Tier jamband NYE show or run. What makes NYE great is the run leading up to the NYE show. If it was in NYC or Boston, chances are other larger bands will be pulling away some of the crowd, leaving the b\'fast with a possible doozie. Providence is alright but nothing special.
Also, there accomedations need to be made far enough in advance to get a hotel room and such or whatever. The more laid back of a venue is ideal but definitely not a slum.
If it is an after show for a larger fan-based band then so be it.
At this point in the game they shouldn\'t be sharing the bill with any band, i.e. Max Creek a few years ago.
It will be easiest to promote a show where the band has a large, solid fanbase. CT should be 1st choice, if nothing is available, then they should began the radius outward.
I believe after the 1000th Show and the turnout expected for the CD release party, Toads may be greased enough to give the band the NYE spot, perhaps 2 nights?
