Last night was an awesome show.  It was so much fun watching the boys reacting and feeding off each other in a more dramatic way that usual.  The many segues were raw and spontaneous and somehow they found a way to make it flow pretty well.  I really enjoyed this one.
as for the recording,  I got to try out a new 24track mic splitter.  Things worked out perfectly.  I just finished backing up the raw files to dvd and now I am going to start mixing.   I\'m going to try and get a rough mix to tim by friday so he can approve it.  If he takes his time, I may just release the audience mix, but it may be a bit chatty.

Thanks for your work, matt. :) Take your time though; I think we\'d all rather wait and have the best possible version so as to hear the band\'s interplay all the clearer.

Tim said last night at the radio station that if he had remembered his book of lyrics, the first set would have been all Zappa.  I\'m almost glad that didn\'t happen, because I\'d be kicking myself even harder for missing the marinara-inducing power of Tomatotron.
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California
