If I had to pick a single concert to attend this summer, it would be the 1,000th breakfast show at toads.

fixed.

Trey changes his mind about matters like this at the drop of a hat.

If they do decide to tour I will invest heavily in the nitrous industry.

^^^^^^hahah great post....i for one want to see them come back in due time...i just dont want stuff to get messed up again...needless to say its going to be an eerie feeling i feel like a the first few shows as everyone is gonna feel like its getting dragged out.  i would at least just based on the fact that they made it so clear that it was "the end" last time.  regardless, i want them back like nothing elese and i have for the last 2 years

I am there too... but I am at 10K lakes for all of that.  Bummer the breakfast is not there.  I agree with him/her who said they would rather see the breakfast or tea leaf green right now.  I love tea leaf green, but the breakfast melts me, hits me in all the right places, and are the force of my future.  They should be the force of the future to many minds, souls, dreams, and passions.  they are beyond good, they are (compared to phish) so under-rated, and they mix it up, throw down changes, and create an atmosphere of music that phish rivals in their hayday, but, still, 45 bucks a ticket, if you score one, or a chance to talk to the band one on one, see them for free, and collaborate with the hardcore fans here on .info.  in all i am more on the breakfast bandwagon than the phish bandwagon.  and that comes from a hard core phish fan.  look, we have all we need right here, the breakfast is a quinessential jam/funk/rock/mindmelt band that we all love.  so i will see you on that proposed phish tour, but until then I will drink up as much breakfast as they can come to colorado and give.  see you there.!!!!!!!!!

If/when Phish comes back together I will definitely catch the shows in my area. I had a lot of fun at the second night of Keyspan and would love to see them do something like that again. I wish they would hurry up and release the dvd.

:that:I love being able to catch such an amazing band in intimate surroundings. I want the band to blow up but I also fear it.:wah:

Are we just gonna do this thread every year until one of them croaks?  Is that what it\'s gonna take?

Keyspan would be cool though.  I made $800 a night for 2 nights selling beer in the lot last time!  Walsh and I parked next to each other by coincidence and cranked beer and Jell-O shots to newbie kidz all day.  "If you\'re underage it\'s time to rage!"  Plus there\'s crystal-clear sound out in the lot.  I went into both shows but when I got temporarily kicked out of the second one I was stunned at how perfect the sound was in the lot.  I\'d be content to show up without a ticket, make bank off all the kidzzz, and take in the show from outside.

Honestly though, I don\'t want Phish to come back.  Is that ok?

That is the first time I have seen it more specific than a month and a year. I\'m keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks for the heads up.

i am first and foremost a raging phishhead, albeit a late bloomer(mostly post-hiatus).... and i would love to see them come back and i would obviously see as many shows as possible

that said, by the time they come back, i\'ll be so addicted to breakfast that when the two nastiest bands ever play on the same night i\'ll be front row raging save side fa sho.... except for maybe the phirst night back

..... and maybe i flip a coin for a halloween:idunno:

..... and maybe i bash my head against a wall for new years....:banghead:

Being that it\'s a single-A baseball stadium that typically hosts crowds of 1,000 docile people as opposed to 15,000 raging heads, the place has no security on staff.  So what they did was they hired every male meathead in Brooklyn aged 18-22 for the night, threw a security shirt on them, and told them who-knows-what.  They all came wasted and foaming at the mouth to drag around some heads.  They were kicking out people left and right for anything, and by kicking out I mean gang-tackling them with six dudes and physically dragging them all the way out of the place even if they didn\'t resist.  One of them barked at me for standing too close to a gate that seperated the field area from the bleacher area.  All I said was "OK" and moved a few feet.  5 minutes later he came back with 4 others, they gang-tackled me (from behind), kicked me in the head a few times, and dragged me out.

Thing is, inept security can be used to your advantage too.  I walked out to my car, counted 100, pounded 2 beers, changed my shirt for good measure, and then proceeded to walk back in via the exact same entrance I had been dragged out of just 10 minutes earlier.  It\'s the only time I ever got kicked out of a Phish show.  Not your typical venue, for sure.

Cmon, really?  There\'s a Phish show in 7 weeks and there\'s been no announcement yet?  Plus the Cylcones have a home game the day before and the day after.  So the Phish crew is gonna swoop in as soon as the last out is recorded on the 26th, build that entire stage from scratch in about 16 hours overnight, do the show, strike the entire setup in 14 hours and leave the team to play on a trampled field the next day?  It might be physically possible with zero margin for error and it might not, but even if it is why go to all that trouble?  Why not just play in an actual music venue?  I love Phish rumours.
