Universal Studios has just announced The Big Lebowski: Collector\'s Edition for release on October 18th.

The only info for now is separate anamorphic widescreen and fullscreen editions and a retail of $19.98. A Gift Set will be available as well for $49.98.

YES! serious, i am a HUGE fan of this movie. that was like... my angle in college. i was the big lebowski guy, with my autographed picture of jeff bridges and BL poster, and i would get laid by going to parties and saying to chicks, "oh shit, you\'ve never seen the big lebowski? seriously, we gotta go back to my place and see that movie, come on." worked every time.

I read somewhere that there\'s a yearly BL convention run out in Vegas. People come dressed as characters, they run a bowling tourney, etc.

jim, that\'s funny that you did that..some guy invited me over to watch the big lebowski but this was when i was a sophmore in high school. maybe it worked for you but he did not get laid lol

being that this was my first time seeing the big lebowski, i somehow got it mixed up with the big green and was really confused that the movie was not about soccer.
