Next GTA is L.A. Baby!!!

So it\'s been confirmed the next Grand Theft Auto will be San Andreas.
It is called this due to legal issues involved using L.A. name. It will be L.A. though.
How sweet it is gonna be to actually take out L.A. cops w/ no worries haha.

GTA Grand Theft Auto. It is a videogame which pushes the limits of videogames in the areas of morality and violence. You have not heard of this game ? Wow  I mean WOW !!! Basically the revolution started w/ GTA III which introduced open - ended non linear gameplay mixed w/ great dark humor. Then GTA Vice City was made in an 80\'s Miami w/ all the requisite horrors of fashion and music( ahh the 80\'s to be a teen again). This one had better graphics and MOTORCYCLES!!!.  If u do not have kids or play vids u may not have heard of this game but i am surprised as it was in the news and all that. anyway it took me 3 months to get 100% in Vice City and it was worth every second.

just trying to copy True Crime, in my opinion. True Crime is a whole bunch better than GTA, again my opinion. But any game where you can use mapquest to find your away around is SER.

Actually True Crime is a total ripoff of GTA. So Rockstar is basically going to show them how to do it right. True Crime has more bugs in it than meat left out in the heat for a week!! Targeting system weak , collision and sorting issues galore , driving engine weak and horrible A.I. ( pathing trite and completely nonsensical). Having Snoop as a hidden character only redeeming quality.
Sorry to go off but having been a tester and knowing a bunch of Rockstar testers and programmers I tend to hate that game

i don\'t think Rockstar\'s trying to  copy  True Crime...it\'s more of a natural progression. GTAIII was supposed to be like ny...Vice City is miami...and now we got la. i kinda wish they went back to the 70\'s with the new one...man what a soundtrack that could have!

okay I didnt mean copy like that, but why LA when another company has done it and did a good job doing it? Sorry Leith, the only reason I like TC better is cos in my opinion its just more realistic. You get to be the cop, and the endings differ depending on how you played the game. Plus its almost an exact replica of the city it is in. GTA Vice City doesn\'t really "Miami" it for me, close, but not accurate enough.

OK It\'s like this I know for a fact that L.A. was decided on VS Las Vegas due to True Crime. Yes True Crime offered a near mirror image of L.A. but believe me when I say Rockstar is out to show who\'s boss( see my list of bugs in prior post). As for Vice City, having been 16 in 1986 (look in Taxi cab garage for calander. it says 1986) the game really brought me back to that era. REALLY! real enough to have the haitians protest the game due to their unfavorable depiction in the game as mere thugs. Either way it is going to rock and we can discuss it then i guess
