the place is smaller.  the way its setup its smaller than the saint.  no stage.  set up at eye level.  fun times though.

here i thought Kev owned the bar and slappy USED to be the talent buyer.  am i wrong in assuming this?

You are correct Kev owns and Slappy is the talent buyer or use to be, don\'t know if he is involved anymore.  I have a big group coming for this show, so I can not wait to see many of my old friends.

Barring anything going on with the little one, I will probably be at this show.  It\'ll be nice to break my 5+ year hiatus.  We\'ll see as it gets closer, but being it\'s the day after my 30th, it would be a great way to celebrate.

We\'ll see about the rug cutting.  It\'s been a while since I\'ve been able to move the way I did at shows back in 99-01

Unfortunately, I heard that Maria\'s in Sea Girt is closing.  I also found out that Barry\'s in Bradley was sold - the Bradley PD ruined a bar that I grew up with all because Healey was trying to do the right thing.

How original, you can take a few pictures from the Turnpike, Newark and Linden.  That\'s a very small area of NJ, open your eyes to the rest of the state.  Better yet, if you\'re going to be such an asshole and you hate Jersey that much, then stay the hell out.

i had to pass through the other weekend, i was afraid I\'d run out of film if i snapped pictures of every smoke stack i saw.

i\'m just busting balls man.... shees

the rest of the state looked and smelled decent, but who wants to see a bunch of 500-750K dollar homes on 1/2 acer lots....... it\'s just not as funny to me.

Yeah, it definitely changed owners, but they\'re keeping the name and apparently they\'re going to close for a little bit and fix up the decor inside (not that it needs any updates).  The only bartenders I know there come in from Jersey City and were related to Cathy (one of the previous owners).  I heard about this place St. Stephen\'s, supposed to be good, but I haven\'t been there yet.
