Last time I checked, hockey was still a sport.  I actually prefer it to basketball.

I thought that Boulder was famous for having that quality and better scenery

Actually, yeah, you are absolutely correct, and I haven\'t been disappointed, but if I end up moving to Boston i like the idea that there will be some of the same, though probably not as big a percentage as Boulder

Don\'t get your hopes up bro.  We may have the greatest pro sports scene in the country, but what we enjoy there we lose in the looks department.  The girls in that picture were obviously flown in from another city to make us look good, kinda like how the Celtics dancers are all the girls who got cut from the dance squads in other cities.

Now you are making me want to go back to Boulder even more!

As a basketball fan without a rooting interest, I feel robbed that Andrew Bynum was out for the finals. I\'m not saying the Lakers would have won it all with him, but it would have been a different series with Bynum sticking KG on the defensive end.

Actually, after watching Kobe underachieve (by Kobe standards), I feel more cheated that we didn\'t get to see Chris Paul (attempt to) rise to the occasion.

Bill Simmons is a clown

[David Stern] nearly screwed [The Celtics] over by not annulling the Gasol trade...

Meanwhile, former Celtic Kevin McHale handing Kevin Garnett to his former teammate and Celtics GM Danny Ainge for next to nothing is OK. How does this guy have a nationally-published column? He should be writing for a Boston sports love-fest website hosted by GeoCities.

Maggette to the Warriors.
Brand to the 76ers.
Baron Davis...tough break guy. Looks like he better forget signing with the Clippers today and instead go back to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, Arenas is signing a 6 year 111mil contract with the Wizards. My love for them dropped significantly when they changed their name from the Bullets. I haven\'t really paid much attention to the NBA this decade either (besides the playoffs). If this deal goes through, they\'re dead to me. I\'m jumping on the Brooklyn Nets bandwagon early.

So Baron hasn\'t signed yet?  GS needs to keep that guy around.
