Probably had a fraction of the energy of any of the recent Breakfast shows.

Well from reports it was a little over half full. Forum members that went said the crowd was into it and talking to a few locals were told the crowd was good for a Sunday and for a west coast band.

As for alZ\'s remark pfffft. Whatever Mr. ADHD.

Crowd at Breakfast show: fists pumping in the air

Crowd at TLG show:  rubbing each others shoulders

I wasted like 10 bucks to see Tea Leaf at Iron Horse a few weeks back. I was surprised how lame they were in person, because I had a couple shows downloaded off archive.org that sounded pretty good.

The crowd consisted largely of pre-teens chowing down on bitter brain candy. TLG scene = weak.

Some girl got pissed at me too, because she kept swirling around and whacking me with her arm and I just kept ignoring it. Apparently that was supposed to mean that I was supposed to move over. When I showed her my ticket stub and suggested she occupy some of the space in the back of the floor her boyfriend came out of hiding and copped an attitude.

Between the zero energy performance and the lame ass scene I wasn\'t impressed at all. Definitely not the fix I was looking for to hold me over while Breakfast was on the west coast...

Ok Breakfast show fist pumping because there is room to do so.

Shoulder rubbing @ a TLG show because it\'s packed.

alZ\'s energy @ a Breakfast show pales in comparison to front row ragers.
His energy @ a TLG show is nonexistent because he is clueless.

Waaaa. The crowd sucked, so I transfered my lame anger @ them to the band which if I was paying attention was actually tearing shit up.
Not like a Breakfast sausage fest that HAS to have energy to release all that pent up testosterone.

This is what you meant right? Hater.

:that: I agree with "hater" on this one... the crowd was mellow & boring, and the band was putting me to sleep.  I was not at all impressed after all of the shit talked about TLG on this board.  Next time, I\'ll pass so that I can relieve some pent up estrogen ;)

Yep Leith, that\'s exactly what I meant. Breakfast is my least favorite band ever and that TLG show was the best concert I ever saw, just to clarify.

Seriously though, they suck. Now that I have seen them live I can say that with authority.

Too bad you did not like them. Seeing as The Breakfast is your only real taste of jambands I can see how you may expect all bands to be fast and furious.

More room for dancing and AVAILABLE women if you do not go to TLG shows then. ;)

Yeah OK
Yell it from the rooftops w/ that authority and myself and the other 2000 TLG fans will laugh at the futility of that yell while we get our jig on @ The Fillmore where TLG will be headlining this Friday.
Yeah The Fillmore totally lets bands that suck Headline.
Let go of the hate. Really

TLG\'s riding a nice hype buzz atm thanks to jambase etc. But since Iron Horse had about 1/2 as many people there for TLG than they had for Breakfast a month earlier, maybe I\'m not the only one who prefers a high energy show of sick musicianship to the kiddie-xanax-rock show Tea Leaf put on a few weeks ago.

To be fair though, I didn\'t actually see the whole show. I left after the first set.

How did you know every band that\'s played Fillmore is my favorite band ever? lol ... I may have hate but I got 10x as much love. Thats life.
