9/11 TL&TG

I don\'t know who Jamie MacLean is, but I hope he/she was blowing a horn.?.?.?
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

...TLATG > Overexposure...no encore.

small crowd.  they all were really into it, so that was good.  matt\'s keys went dead during his little classical intro to the chase, everyone was like, "AAAAAAWWWWW," luckily the organ worked.  honey butter was a nice treat, wild version, as was psygn.  i just love metropolis, everyone was dancing, same went for the score, nice little "dueling" solos, if you will, from tim and jamie maclean.  tim said it was time for something positive, for an obvious 9/11 tribute.  i really hoped for an overexposure tonight, didn\'t think they\'d play it though, but when tlatg started i knew we at least had a chance.  it was obviously very fitting for the evening.  seemed like there was a slight stumble right at the moment of the segue, probably just me though.

i\'ve never been in the city when the twin tower lights were on, i couldn\'t stop looking.  i wanted to drive by them, but with jen having to work at 7:30 and me at 9:00 it wouldn\'t make sense.

overall, good time, glad we went.  good thing i took a nap earlier.  on the way in some guy asked, "is psychedelic breakfast playing here tonight...?"

I think I was indifferent about the name change, but I think it could be positive and negative. In a way, the guys have (i\'m guessing) wanted to extend the fan base to a sphere beyond the trip-the-light-fantastic psychedelic-"hippie" stereotyped ppl. It\'s akin to when I teach I dress up in the goodie-teacher wear, but on the town I let the tats show and perhaps get a little crazy like Mr. Rogers in the land of make believe.:disco::bounce2: Uh, maybe that doesn\'t make any sense at all actually. (lmao) But if the guys want to keep their old school base, like when people have wondered about if psy-b was playing, then they have been apparently listening on a whim and may not know the deal and this could detract from the possible furthering of fan hood.

This way, we can still eat \'em up and they may even serve 24/7 at your local diner.
