Wah, wish I could join you.  Weezer fucking ROCKS, even if their last 2 albums only have a handful of good songs.

I think there are a lot of good ones on the new album.  Beverly hills is not a good representation of the way rivers sings on the album.  The vocals are very similar to that of the blue album....

I\'d have a say on a scale of 1 to 10....a 10!  tremendous show last night....probably the best I\'ve ever been to.  I\'m sure a big part of it is b/c I like these guys so much and I hardly ever see them live.  For me, it was just a perfect mix of great music, great energy, great stage set-up, great audience interaction....everything.  They did a lot of stuff off the blue album....jonas, sweater song, buddy holly, surf wax america, SAY IT AIN\'T SO!  They also played one of my all time favorites and one I\'d never thought I\'d hear them play....EL SCORCHO!!  el scorcho > say it ain\'t so will probably be the best two song combo ever for me.  so good.  They played for a while which was great....did some switcharunies on instruments....awesome, awesome stuff.

The foo fighters were really good too.  Played almost all their hits.  Dave Grohl is a maniac.  They had so much energy.  They also had a really cool stage setup.  Tons of lights, lasers, and shit.

all in all a tremendous show.

Saw Weezer/Foo Fighters at the Continental Airlines Arena in Jersey last night.  Sick show.  It reminded me that a band doesn\'t have to jam to play awesome fucking rock and roll.  Not that either band ranks higher than The Breakfast on my list by a long shot, but they kick ser ass at what they do.

Foo Fighters encore: Tie Your Mother Down*, Monkey Wrench

* ROGER FUCKING TAYLOR (Queen) on drums
Go see your Breakfast, there are starving Leiths in California

Dave Grohl is a maniac.

Kurt Cobain + Vince Neil (1980s edition) = Dave Grohl

And did I mention ROGER FUCKING TAYLOR from Queen on drums?
