ATHF=worst/best show ever made.....i have a real love/hate relationship with this show. whenever i watch it by myself i die laughing, but when i try to show it to somebody; either a bad episode comes on or an episode i once thought to be funny actually seems sick, deranged, and quite unhumorous (sp? word?). Does this make me sick and derranged?
Stella tho i do find a bit humorous tho it does not come anywhere close to KITH.

and BTW....Dave Foley from newsradio/KITH has since hit rock bottom and mutters sarcastic remarks from behind a glass of whiskey on celebrity poker alongside poker ace Phil Gordon.....sad really

That really sucks for Foley. He was really funny.

Seems the death of Phil Hartman really messed up the careers for folks on that show.

from what I gather...
it is about a milkshake, an order of french fries, and a "meatwad" that live together in a house next to a balding freaky human... So basically its about NOTHING. Laugh factor = Nonexistant. Believe it or not I have had arguments on other message boards where kids were trying to defend that ATHF is better than the Simpsons.......

how can a 15 minute show that has been around for a couple of years even be compared to a 30 minute show that is going into its 16th season?

Easily they are both hilarious. ATHF is like the GD in that they are the only ones that do what they do and those that like ATHF REALLY like ATHF. How u like that comparison?
But SER What do you not find funny Gencs? I mean the writing is funny and the situations absurd. Perfect combo for funny.

I think it comes down to what you were talking about early, generations of people have different taste.

People our age, I believe cling\'d to the Simpsons because it was one of the first primetime cartoons to be successful. We grew up on it, and consider it our family. I have watched Family Guy since day 1 and I still don\'t think it beats Homer and his -isms. Now we have kids who are 16-20 who love these other shows and stand by them. I think that is who you find on the message boards. I think the fans of Adult Swim average between 18-30.

oh and they make weak lame ass drug references that I guess are supposed to be funny and/or cool...but they are not....

I just dont get it at all......

The best part of the show is the little rap that meatwad does in the beginning.....and its really not that good either...

As for Adult Swim...Robot Chicken is a pretty funny and original show...blows ATHF and any other Adult Swim show out of the water....

I like TV funhouse too....

I turn it off. Have never really watched. I just have not found that thing inside of me that says, don\'t turn that channel.
