My favorite part of the second set was She\'s Leaving Home.

Sure, the Within You Without You and Lovely Rita jams were excellent, but She\'s Leaving Home was my favorite moment because of the crowd reaction. The crowd was screaming insanely from the opening of the album right through Fixing a Hole with balloons going every which way. The start of She\'s Leaving Home was drawn out for a few seconds while the band apparently waited for the crowd to quiet (they looked a little anxious). Literally, in one second, the crowd went from screaming to pindrop silence and soaked in an elegant version of a beautiful song. Then as soon as it ended, the place erupted in unison and was loud for the rest of the set. It was just a great to feel the crowd recognize when to lay up and when to slam dunk.

The happiness in Tim\'s face while he sang it was evident. In fact, the facial expressions and body language of the band during this set were something to behold. They clearly knew they were engaged in something special and were loving every last note of it. They weren\'t alone.

It was 5:45 am at Todd\'s and we had just completed a game of darts (Me and Tim, Team Pasta, vs. Seth and Jed, Team Matza). We lost a close decision to the Matza Boys, after which we danced like fucking maniacs and sang to some Seth-led Hebrew number.

Yeah, the show was great, blah blah blah.  Forget the show, it was nothing compared to the epic multi-national dart showdown.

So glad I made the trek from NY. I\'m not even gonna go into the details. Set 6 was simply too gnarly for words.

Can someone give me some direction on how I go about downloading these shows and ultimately getting them to a CDR.  I\'ve never downloaded off e.tree or this site, and not familiar with bittorent.  Step by step would be appreciated.  Also, how long should it take with a cable modem connection?

Ok buddy, first step...get a bt client (this is the program you use to do the download), i suggest Bit Comet , the free download is here: http://www.bitcomet.com/doc/download.htm

do whatever you have to do to install it (if you need help with that just ask, but i\'m sure if you can sign up and post on this site you should be ok with that)

Next step: click the links to the show downloads on the main site or here:
Aug 20th
http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=17467

Aug 19th
http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=17446

Next step: click the torrent links and wait for it to show up in your Bit comet screen (which if not open already should automatically do it, if i\'m not mistaken)

Then all you have to do is click ok and it should start up.....

if that was too confusing or wrong anyone feel free to correct me....good luck dude

Thanks fellas.  Before I asked for help, I did download was I\'m assuming was a BT client - not sure if it\'s the best one, I\'ll deal with that later.  And, it appears to be downloading as we speak.  But, it\'s been almost an hour and it\'s only 24% done.  Does that sound right, I thought it would be much quicker.  In any case, once this is downloaded, do I have to convert it to a wave file in order to burn it onto CDR?  If so, how?

Thanks for the responses.

And if you have any problems, let me know and I\'ll bring copies to Sully\'s. Great time this weekend! Oh YEAH!

Thanks Mark.  I\'m trying to figure this out so I can start downloading all of these shows at home.  I think it\'s working right, but it seems like it\'s going to take hours to do this.

Good times this weekend, good times!

Yes Kevin, it\'ll take a while to download. After it does, all the songs will be what are called FLAC files. You will need to download a music converter (I suggest DB powerAMP http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm ) to convert the FLACs to MP3s or WAVs. Their website/wizard will show you how to do everything. I\'m a 19-year old computer software illiterate chick and even I figured it out after doing the proper research. :) For your BitTorrent client, I personally use Azureus, but there are plenty of other programs that work just fine. Any other questions, just PM me here.

Whatta weekend.  Stony Creek and the Puppethouse are amazing!!!  Beers, Bowls, Booze, and Brekkies as far as the eye could see.  I was beat after the first night, I can\'t imagine how the guys felt and they totally blew the roof (not to mention several others in the vicinity) off that place.  I don\'t think I\'ve ever seen so much energy in one room. I was completely floored by these two shows.  And Food for Fucking Thought!!!!!  I have never witnessed anything like that in my life.  I just want to thank the band for putting on such a great show and really giving it their all, they left everything up there on that stage.  We\'re all so lucky that there is a band like The Breakfast even in existence, so much talent, dedication to music, and the ability to melt your face off.  I have been hopelessly hooked on this band for sometime now and they never fail to take the music to an entirely different plane.  They did even more than that this weekend.  Eventhough I made my best attempt to do so, there are no words in the English language that could do these performances justice, and there was no other place on Earth that could have compared to what we experienced over the past weekend.  Can I get a confirmed?

P.S. Greg and Dobbs, great job on the balcony.  The lights and sound were spectacular.
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.
