Ok, so... since the bus trip is out... Anyone have an extra seat in their car? I really don\'t want to drive my truck into NYC, so I was wondering if perhaps if I drove to New Haven maybe someone could give me a ride the rest of the way? Please please please...

how much does it cost to rent a bus and how much notice do you need to give? the only reason its not happening is because no one took it upon themselves to call a bus company.

Dave,
What time do the trains stop running on the New Haven Line ? Or are you just thinking of waiting it out for the first train out on Saturday ?

if this is an option, i\'m still waiting to hear a quote on the 10+ \'group rate\', but we can still get a pretty good discount even if we get 5... normal price is $26 round trip... if we get 5 people, we can do it for $21.42/person.. not bad..

I need to be into work at 8a on saturday, so the train is ideal for me. I could crash on the way home to get my sleep for the night. I\'m in!

I have to be at work on Saturday at 9:45am.  But if we are indeed taking the 5:40am train to New Haven, I\'m in.

I am probably going to this show, but may hop in the van for the next night also. If not, I\'m down for the train!

i am waiting on a quote from coachquote.com. I put in a request to find out how much it would cost to charter a short bus. If it ends up costing $400 and everyone who originally wanted to do a bus trip goes, then it  would cost about the same per person as the train. But I have no idea how much a short bus costs compared to a normal bus so i am not sure if it will work out.
