Just saw a video on Fox\'s website with House being followed around by a large group of prospectives, and I swear one of them was Kal Penn of Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle fame.  (which I just found out they\'re currently making a sewuel to, loved that movie too funny) That would just be weird if he made it to the team.

I think Penn has some sort of sitcom contract with Fox. He was in the first 3-5 episodes of last season\'s 24, too. For those who haven\'t seen House, you are missing out. It is easily the best show on television.

anyone wanna take bets on the final 3?

I say the black religous guy, kal penn, and a hot chick.

Good to see Cameron and Chase back.  It\'ll be good to see how they weave them into the show in different roles.

It was great to see Cameron and Chase OWN House!

So what do you think he saw when he was out? I\'m thinking nothing and he wanted to bust on the guy that "tried every hallucinogen out there".

It was funny and cool to see Foreman with a team. Too bad he ruffled feathers and got canned. I see him either back with House or...to make things even more interesting...with his own team, pitted against House.

And I LOVE the older guy that is the fraud!! He seems to know more than all the others, he just isn\'t a "Doctor".

Could Foreman be coming back? :chin:
seems possible after getting canned at the other job.  I also think that experince made him respect House\'s tactics a little more, and that maybe being like him isn\'t so bad.

I don\'t think he saw anything either, cause as he was bringing the sheet over their patient he said something to the affect of "I hate to say I told you so"  Which is why he wanted to find the other guy so bad so he could tell him I told you so.

FORMAN\'S BACK!!!!  Awesome.  This is gonna get good.  You knew it was gonna happen, but good shit anyway.

Good episode, I\'m sorry to see the old guy go, I liked him.  House just needs to get rid of that blonde bitch, she\'s awful.  Also loved the fact that the patient was basically tripping on L the whole time.

:that: and, what is up with the new doc from the CIA coming to work for/with House?!  Is she for real :sigh:  I\'m not sure where the show is going, but it\'s been getting tackier and tackier after the last two episodes.

saw this on myspace

Quote
Production staff at House say they have one more script that they will be shooting next week. After that, the show will slowly shut down production.  Actors and most of the crew will be gone by the end of next week. There are a handful of post production people that will have work until the end of January - source.
There are six episodes left to air and will be shown as a mix of repeats and new episodes - they\'re saving some of them for the new year. One is going to be aired after the Superbowl

Spinoff for House?
Plans may be afoot at FOX.
by Eric Goldman
May 7, 2008 - Fox seems in a spinoff mood of late. The network had been developing a female-centered spinoff for Prison Break (though there hasn\'t been any word on that of late); the Family Guy spinoff The Cleveland Show is expected to be picked up for next season; and now it turns out a House spinoff is in development.

TV Guide\'s Michael Ausiello says Fox and NBC Universal (who produce House) are quietly developing the spinoff in hopes of launching it next year. Ausiello says the plan doesn\'t currently involve centering the spinoff on an existing character but rather to introduce a new male private investigator character on the show next season for a several episode stint. The P.I. then may be given his own show, if the character/actor seems to work well during his time on House.

More about that House spinoff

Posted Aug 6th 2008 11:01AM by Allison Waldman

Back in May -- remember that far back -- Isabelle wrote about the fact that David Shore, creator of House, was contemplating a new show. It was a spinoff of House, but not a medical show. It was going to be in the private eye genre.

Newark Star-Ledger columnist Alan Sepinwall (with Dan Feinberg) did an interview with David recently and found out some more information about the spinoff.

"We brought in a character, partway through the year, [actor] Michael Weston as this private investigator House goes to. The spinoff would be less of a spinoff, it would be more us using House to launch it. It would be an independent world. A character out of the House mold, but definitely different."

Shore said that we can expect Michael Weston -- which is funny that that\'s the same name as Jeffrey Donovan\'s character on Burn Notice, only that character\'s name is spelled Westen -- to appear early in the new season.

According to Shore, "House is constantly sending people to break into people\'s homes, and he does it the right way in one episode. It\'s a character that only House could love."

Finally, Shore revealed that he wants to do this kind of story because... "I\'ve always loved The Rockford Files." Hmm, Rockford. Interesting. Who could Shore cast in a role that has the charm of James Garner\'s Jim Rockford and the irascibility of Hugh Laurie\'s Gregory House?

I would have no trouble tuning in to watch a detective series in The Rockford Files tradition -- which is what Magnum, P.I. was inspired by -- and with David Shore behind the creation, I have faith the show would be something worth watching. There really aren\'t many detective shows on TV right now, what with all the procedurals and forensics. I could get psyched about this. (Speaking of which, I love the Psych detectives.)

I like the PI character too.  I loved the scene one episode (I forget which one) at the end where the PI and House were playing piano and guitar together to finish the episode.  I like all the House stuff with music involved.  Like the Dave Matthews episode.

Generally not a fan of spin-offs.  I will def give it a shot though cause it\'s House.

Great show but House is the only character that really does anything for me. Most of the other characters are pretty blah...

Still love watching it when I happen to notice it\'s on however.

True there really aren\'t any grandios supporting actors.

I prefer LOST, to House, however...can\'t wait \'til spring season!!!

I personally enjoy the back and forth relationship between House and Wilson.  I\'m two episodes behind on this season.  Probably catch up on it this weekend.
