Thought you guys would be interested in this, got it off The Niche\'s message board:

The scoop on the sackets nichefest june 10 and 11.

Wild Bills Nichefest is the fourth concert since 2000.

With my stage-attendance and social etiquette policy established and enforced last year, the first of the concerts last year to set the standard(who\'s got the balls?), I will return to camping with a bus service this year. The reason for separating the busing and camping is to enforce stage presence. If this reduces numbers in attendance----tough!!!!!!!! It is a music festival!!!!!!!!!!!! Right!!!??

But, we will have alcohol at all sites this year!

Due to a high interest by quality bands to play the fest, it may split into a double venue but with alcohol at both stages this year!

The breakfast and the Niche will be headlining Saturday Night! Friday is up for grabs.

Anybody who was at the last two Nichefests and were at the mainstages for the headline know that we will have an audiance of -300-400 strong, at least! Bands need this crowd energy reflection to fuel their artistic fire.

I will be featuring bands from every major city in the state and some from New England who communicated that they want to support our concert theme. They will be paid gas money, given a campsite and fed as long as they stay! Bands will be tipped if we make a profit!

A lot of bands want to come to the Nichefest from PA, connecticut and ma because of the nature of the social themes that have been established at previous fests!

somebody read the stuff advertised lastlast year and it was intended for a long-term effect!

I am open to suggestions if they are reasonable. I lost almost 4,000 last year and the band nevertheless, benefitted from the continuity of notariety in holding their own fest and being leaders in the stage-presence and social-ertiquette policy. Sometimes the kids are the adults!

I know alot of you New Englanders are heading to Strange Creek but for the rest of you I must encourage you to join us for the debut of the Breakfast at the Sterling Stage. (Upstate NY) Some of us have been waiting for this pairing for years and  no there will not be 2000 people there, but it will be a very cool festival with some of the most fun and friendly folks you will meet anywhere. The place (a kampitheater as we call it) is unlike any other venue....you can see the stage from most  campsites, acoustics are unbelievable, over 50 acres land, many interesting knooks & crannies. The Breakfast headlines on Saturday night...9pm - 11:30pm...accompanied by Groovin Lumens. Check out our site for more info.

Since 10,000 Lakes is in late July and halfway across the country, does this mean that a trip out west is imminent as they prepare for Baja Bash and a west coast tear?

90% sure Baja Bash is a go. Looks like they may be changing venue location though, which kinda sucks. That place was SER!!!

Yeah, I guess they are doing the cruise and the bash...I thought from the promoters early indications this year that they were replacing one event with the other. I haven\'t made it to the Baja yet and definitely need to.

Went to ACL Fest last year.   Really beautiful park set in the middle of Austin, TX.   They have a nice cross selection of great music from different generes.   Lots of stages, great food, and really expensive beer (Lone Star at $4 a pop...ouch).   Couldn\'t drink that much anyway, it was 100 degrees with not that much shade.
