Dave, the suggestions you made that I haven\'t already seen are indeed on my list... I\'ll let you know what I think of \'em when I see them.

I\'ve gotten a little hooked on Chinese movies the last few weeks.  If you don\'t mind subtitles, I would recommend:

Fearless (w/ Jet Li) & Curse of the Golden Flower (w/ Chau Yun Fat).

Both period films, set.... well, a really long time ago.  Fearless had some great philosophy, Curse was visually amazing and had the largest battle scene I\'ve ever seen on film.

Anyone else see "Stay" w/ Ryan Gosling and Ewan McGregor?

sorta got an acid trip feel to it... I\'m not positive I\'m really following everything that happens

Not about to go see Will Smith in a movie that has already been done twice and there is no way he does a better part in the role than Vincent Price.

I saw the second half of this on tv and was terribly confused. Not a movie that one can jump into easily half way through. I got the sense that I would like it if I saw the whole thing though.

The Edukators.

Great movie, saw it over the weekend, I highly recomended it but caution that possibly one of the worst songs ever is played at a critical plot moment.

I\'ve caught it a couple times from the beginning and I\'m still a bit confused... but I can\'t stop watching it.

The best music doc I\'ve seen in a long time:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0760307/fullcredits#cast

Had some great performance clips, especially the stuff of Doyle Bramhall & Clapton.  I had never heard of Doyle before... amazing stuff.

Also saw "The 25th Hour" with Edward Norton & Phillip Seymor Hoffman.  Pretty good stuff.

I watched "Naked Lunch" yesterday.  If you want to watch something bizarre and weird then this movie is right up your alley.
