Hey y\'all, I split this gem up into tracks if anyone is interested. I did it before I saw your post Chris, so this version was converted to wav and then split. I didn\'t know there was a way to split an mp3 file. So while these are flac files, they were derived from an mp3, just so everyone knows. Still sounds great! I hope everyone enjoys this as much as I do. Cheers!

You know, it is what it is. I understand about tainting the gene pool, but after splitting up the wav, I wanted to zip it, and that seemed like the way to go. Should I of just zipped it up as a wav? I guess I should of split up the mp3, but I didn\'t know it was possible. I agree though, don\'t record the show in a lossy format. But, who knows what the taper was thinking.

I just wanted to share a split up version. I won\'t go uploading this to the LMA or anything.

Duly smoted.

this show can be upload to archive, BUT It has to go under "open source audio" and will not be added to the breakfast etree collection(lossless Formats). Just make sure the source is documented for what it is.  Open source allows streaming and downloading and will be available for generations
thanks for helping.

Thats right, I forgot about the open source audio section. Should I redo this and take the original mp3 and split that?

If you can split the original mp3 tracks with out reprocessing when it writes out the new files, than thats the way to go.
thanks,
