need some help burning this show
« on: August 14, 2005, 08:41:47 pm »
whats up guys, i need some help here.

i just recently bought a dvdr drive and ive been putting all kinds of stuff on these discs, but i just cant figure out how to work this breakfast show from sullys onto the disc.

my main issue is that i want to have the title menu and tracklistings that are already made but cant figure out how to incorporate them into my movie.  the program i use(nero) will burn the show, but with two tracks and a default main menu, which i dont want.  i see the title menu and tracks that were made for this show, so i know that they are there.  this cant be as hard as it seems, i would really appreciate some help, i know you guys know all about these sort of things.  thanks

i don\'t have a dvdr burner but my neighbor at school did and i borrowed it for a while, the program he told me to download was dvd santa and it worked really well for me...i remember having what seems like a similar problem to yours when using other programs.  Here is the website if you want to check it out, there is a free trial version that works exactly the same as the real version except for the first couple seconds of the video it says trial version in big letters in the top corner.

DVD Santa is an All-in-One software that lets you copy, create, convert and burn your DVD movies. It can copy 9GB double layer DVD movies into a 4.7GB DVD-R disc, can turn your photos into DVD movies with Hollywood style motion effects, can convert other video formats(avi, wmv, vob, asf, DivX, Mpeg,...) into DVD video, can transfer miniDV camcorder tapes directly to DVD video. dvdSanta is extremely easy to use, fast and powerful.

I\'m pretty sure the files for the dvd are vob, and this program is really user freindly, so it should be easy to figure it out.

are you sure you are not using nerovision? there is no reason why it would be doing that if you are just burning a dvd the way you should be. open nero express, choose "dvd video files," then drag the video_ts folder into the window and burn it.

please do not trade any of my dvds burned with this program if it puts its own ad over the video!

i don\'t use either cause i don\'t have a dvd recordable drive....thus the constant requests for b&p\'s.  I just borrowed my buddies external dvdr drive that one time to burn a copy of the freakout dvd and he told me to use dvd santa.  I guess it would make sense to just figure out how to use nero correctly so u wouldn\'t have to deal with the stupid trial version thing tho.
