"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
- Inigo Montoya

doozie: something that is extraordinary or outstanding of its kind.
(not necessarily a negative connotation)

Sorry noob but we here @ .info know EXACTLY what a doozie is and what the word means.
We have our own vocabulary here. You should just keep posts like this to yourself until you become a little more familiar w/ our lingo.

d00d has been a member since 2004. not really a n00b of these parts. doesn\'t neccesarily post as frequent as some, but I find his input to be fair ground for discussion.
many words\' meanings have been connotated differently according to context, according to time, setting and other specifics of the situations..
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.

uh oh!

I see where the guy\'s coming from. That was my first thought when I heard the usage of doozie in reference to poor attendance.

But he should really not make anything of it. I bet when he hears that a jam was "sick" he doesn\'t think the drummer was nauseous.
