they should do something, whether it is lessons, or simply just doing excercises together to help strengthen their voices/harmonies...it would only help

all good points though so far.

joce what years are you talking about here...trey\'s voice sucked BADLY toward the end but it used to be real crispy back in the dizzy!

I winced a few times in 03 and 04 but I will always be a huge fan of his singing though regardless.  No need to really break it down the further than that. It\'s trey. It trey\'s voice.  I grew up on it.

I know I know. I have always been alone in this opinion. Well, my Broadway-bound little brother would probably agree, but that\'s about it.

He should hook up with my cousin down there.  She has been on some commercials, a Sopranos episode etc. down in NYC.

Wow good for her.

My brother is more in the musical theatre side of things, as opposed to straight acting.

Cousin was a musical theater major at NYU.  I think TV/commercials/films are another way of advancing a career and supplementing a generally low income, though her acting is rooted in a love for theater as well.

wow, good read last couple of pages. im definitely on the "vocals need improvement team". i especially agree with bdfreetuna\'s comments (whats your name man?).

and trey and the boys by no means had great voices, but they definitely maximized their potential and sounded wonderful. in the studio their melodies were incredible and live-90\'s they achieved shit they werent born to. not always, but at times. i agree though that the last however many years, ill say since \'99, trey struggled and got lazy with his voice and it sounded real shitty often.

and this is just HILARIOUS. look at how calm he is too.

i mean, she is struggling, look at her face. then look at his. its like his school picture was super-imposed on that body. im impressed. he kinda looks like ferris bueller.

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

In any case, Tim has a really good ear, and can sing in key.  I think a little vocal direction would put him in a good place...

Come on Seth just because they could hit notes correctly doesn\'t mean they have nice voices.

It doesn\'t mean that they don\'t either.  It means that they hit their hard parts, which is one particular positive aspect of vocals.  But if you want nice voices on display, they have that too, particularly from 93-00.  You never felt anything during Waste?  Billy Breathes?  Strange Design?  Dirt?  Loving Cup?  While My Guitar Gently Weeps?  Brian and Robert?  Circus?  Sleep?  Roggae?  Velvet Sea?  Limb By Limb?  Swept Away?  Horn?  You really think they sound "atrocious" in these songs?  Trey and Page\'s nice voices sold these songs for years.
