I\'m hoping Coloartist (recorder of the Steve Molitz sit-in at the Fox Theater in Oct.) will be there to capture some video.

Whoa... did Tim find out about this the night before and fly out to Denver on 24 hours notice?  Or even less?  Did he get the call in the morning and fly out same day for a show that night?  Or did he know already and this just posted late?

Ser Ice Ownage?
If trees could scream do you think we would be so cavalier to cut them down? Maybe if they screamed all the time for no good reason.

Probably the worst thing about having King Kong run rampant in your town would be the huge, monster genitalia.

I wish I had a kryptonite cross, because then I could keep Dracula and Superman away.

Hey everyone, Tim here. just wanted to fill you in on last nights happenings.

My flight was great, arrived no problem, hung with Willie and Steve Perkins before the show. Steve Perkins is super cool, very energetic, and has a lot of great stories. I was getting very excited to be jamming with him that night. Willie is a madman and a superguy. Also a blast hanging with him. I met Tony Franklin and he is very kind and down to earth. Met up with Steve Molitz briefly before the soundcheck. He was going to the Denver Nuggets game with his friend Robert Van Winkle who was to perform the halftime show at the nuggets game. He said he might bring Rob back to jam with us.

Great Dinner, some shots, some beers, and we are ready to hit the stage. before the show i met Ice and he was cool. he watched the entire first set. First set was really good - typical feeling everyone out first since i\'ve never jammed with them before besides Willie and Molitz but all came together well. Vanilla freestyled and i couldn\'t make much of the vocals out but the crowd was into it - it was sort of a heavy A jam kind of thing.

btw - the show was not taped. bummer.

second set - steve perkins told me to shred. so i did - and the second set rocked. we were all warm - used to each others musical vocab and we let loose. great moments and the crowd was hanging on every note. crowd was around 100+ but for Cervantes it looks light. a tough night post NYE madness that occurred in Denver but i had some Breakfast peeps there so it was cool.

thats pretty much it in a nutshell. i didn\'t want to write a small tome. tonight in breckenridge with some different players - its going to be fun. i will summarize the show in breck when i get back in CT monday night!

peace
