Fewer bands listed on Jambase?
« on: October 28, 2004, 12:49:50 pm »
I\'ve noticed there are far fewer listings on Jambase now than there were just one year ago - probably less than half.  This time last year I could type in Georgia or North Carolina and get 350-400 shows scheduled in each state on Jambase.  Type in the same states now and you\'ll get 100-200 shows tops.  Do you think this is because all of the pretenders are getting ****ed out? This would be good because there was a time when everyone had a band on Jambase, and it was impossible to decide where to go on any given night.  This may be an advantage for the better bands like the Breakfast.
