if it is being sold for profit without payment to tim, wouldnt that be against the bands taping rules?

"can you saw lawsuit? good. I knew you could"
"i heard that after he crossed the finish line he proceeded to wrestle down and pin a full sized grizzly bear"- ds673488

"if i listened to the distance on repeat, i\'d be wearing yellow jerseys like a motherfucker" - zuke

Discohesive totally rocks.  They\'re this CRAZY ass free-jam metal band from Seattle.  Think Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey meets Fear Factory meets Square Pusher.  We met them out on Summer Tour 2002, and they taped a bunch of shows for us.  They even burned copies in their van and had them ready 2 hours after we played!  They are always going around giving out their CD\'s.  I would definitely listen to that album, and I\'m sure Tim is gracious enough to donate his performance. :)  Here are some excerpts from the tour review:

(From 7/9/2 Blakes; Berkely, CA)
Our crowd consisted of 9 people. 2 came for the show, 1 was Jon who we were staying with, 1 was a girl I got to come down from the bar even though she wasn\'t that interested, 1 was Thankful, 1 was Rachel, and 3 of them were Discohesive, the opening band. This band is way out there, with a jam/industrial/breakbeat thing going on. Good stuff. We ended up running into Discohesive like 10 more times over the next week. They promote like crazy, giving away hundreds of CD’s at every show they can get to on the west coast. They started putting our stuff along with their stuff on the promo CD’s they were making, just to be nice. Thanks guys, you rock!

(From Bests and Worsts)
Best fan: Thankful Daugherty. Coming all the way from Tennessee to see us in Alabama, then flying out to California for 6 more shows with her friend Rachel, Thankful is definitely THE BOMB. I can’t wait until the hometown crew and her can intersect. Dave Pec, she did more shows than you! Thanks for all your support Thankful, we love you.

2nd prize: Dave Pec. He may have been a close 2nd for this stage, but we all know that his lead is completely insurmountable in the overall Tour de Breakfast.

3rd prize: Discohesive. Serious tapers, serious promotion, serious passion. Thanks again.
